Tonight we studied Cy Twombly. . Making a chalkboard wall ain't easy, but it sure is fun! The priming process revealed just how crappy the walls are after years of quick overpainting between tenants. Think the surface will do just fine though. More work to be done before it's ready for prime time, but it's close! Truely devastated at the news coming out of the Corcoran. George Washington University has devoured yet another beautiful, thriving community. That's a pretty expensive name they bought that will now lose its value in a few years since they gutted the heart and soul of what made the Corcoran so special and unique. I will cherish forever the time I spent and friends I made inside those walls. I mourn for the students who have now been deprived of that experience. #RIPCorcoran
