Fortitude. July 1998. Daytona Beach, Fl. Summer of 98, we piled into a rental van and hit the road. Barely a demo, only a few shirts, and some vacation time accumulated, big dreams took control. We wanted to go fucking everywhere. We went barely a week from NY and through KY and MO . We linked with Kill Your Idols in KY, after a near fatal show in NJ (our drummer messed up his knee, shredding a bowl at Casino Skate Park). The KY and MO shows were the saving grace of the tour. This shot was taken after a blazzing show in Daytona, at the old church. Hometowns kids with hometown pile ons and sing alongs. In an era of pointed fingers, it was a miracle noone lost an eye. With this picture, I think of an old phrase, "Never say never".
