We’re saddened to learn that Mort Drucker has died at the age of 91 (it happened Thursday). If you were reading Heavy Metal in your late teens, you were probably reading a lot of Mad magazine before that, and as Mad’s in-house caricature and parody master, Drucker was a fixture in the Usual Gang of Idiots from the late ‘70s onward. The incomparable Mort Drucker passed away last night at the age of 91. The World has lost a not just an extraordinary talent but a shining example of kindness, humility and humor.
