So me and my parents went to visit my nanny marg’s grave yesterday. We spent some time tidying up the plot, and the ones around it (because we can never leave any of the plots looking unloved), and mum and dad brought flowers 💐 and I brought a windmill 🌈. Its been nearly 16 years, and I miss my nanny and think of her every day. She was, and still is, one of the biggest influences in my life, and shaped/shapes who I am today. She was my best friend. I often wonder what she’d think of me and my life. I know she’d be immensely proud of my mum @caroline.davies350 and my dad, her son in law (my mum used to call my nan The Stephen Davies Defence Society because she always took his side in their arguments 😂!) for the lives they lead, the people they are, and for all the people they help. As much as I obviously wish we’d had more time, I’m so glad I got to have nearly 10 years of really incredible adventures with my amazing nanna, and that I got to learn so much from her. She was one of the strongest people I’ve known. Treasure the people in your life who you love and who love you. You never know when your last day with them might be. Love you always nanny ❤️ #ripnanny #loveyoualways❤️ (at Llansamlet) https://www.instagram.com/p/B0wZ_OOhnaM/?igshid=cj8cwwm3vyww
