Anduin had had dealings with dragons over the years, from Onyxia to Kalecgos and even Wrathion. In point of fact, the young king of Stormwind had probably come into contact with more dragons in his short time on Azeroth than most people would have in many, many lifetimes. He was fascinated by their strangeness, their otherworldly inhumanity, even in humanoid form. To have one address him so was not unusual, but still flattering.

“Do they portend some ill, Mother of Dreams?” His voice was without mockery, for the words of an aspect were always to be heeded, even if she was no longer an aspect.

TRUTH Anduin is there a thing going on with Wrathion?

Yet there is some enchantment about him, for his heart skips a few beats as his tongue works itself loose and he begins to speak, cheeks turning a pretty shade of pink.

“I see much of the Black Prince and he has become a valuable ally and advisor. I care deeply for him, though I am unsure of his feelings toward me. As a king, I haven’t time to further consider this, however, and as a priest, I am content to allow the Light to work as it wills.”

In other words I don't need to interfere with what somebody else has going on because I'm in my own lane making sure my life is bright! I've never understood why someone deliberately tries to make someone else look bad to others. Jealousy? Envy? Desperation? Attention seeking? Listen, none of those look good on anyone, no matter how attractive they are, and they all have an unpleasant stench that others can smell. And here's a secret that those with the above afflictions don't understand, when you help others to shine and lift them up instead of tearing them down or talking down about them to others, your own light just shines that much more brilliantly. So stop trying to dim other's lights or put them out.
