Rogue Events (they're running Ripper Con in Early 2016) have just said they're surprised they get a lead actor to every con they do (I think it's a jibe at Starfury, but whatevs) so crossing fingers for Mads, Hugh, Caroline, Laurence or Gillian!

What's ripper con?

A Hannibal convention that is going to happen next year in Birmingham, England. It is by Rogue Events who, as I understand it, handles several other conventions for genre-type shows.

Not much info for it right now, as the date hasn’t even been settled.

what are these hannibal cons?? and where?? this is my first knowledge of these and i find myself wanting to know more!

I thought I would publish just to collate all the info I have. So, any more asks on the subject will just get referred to the tags.

Red Dragon Con - run by Starfury events, the con takes place at a hotel by Heathrow Airport, London. The con is confirmed to be in October 2015 (16-18th) There are two tiers of tickets, £90 and £160, no guests have been announced yet but they’re due to release the first couple in the next few weeks. You can join a fbook group here to get updates and here is their twitter. You can also grab tickets here. I will be keeping people updated on who is attending as soon as I know. I will be attending the whole weekend and will be posting info tagged under RED DRAGON CON.

Ripper Con - run by Rogue Events, Hannibal was chosen as their next project by poll where Fannibals around the world voted to get the UK a con. It is confirmed as being at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel. The con will have confirmed dates in the next couple of weeks but it is at the beginning of 2016. No guests have been announced yet. I intend on going and will be posting all info under RIPPER CON

Hope that helps everyone! Both cons are in the UK, both have convient airports though and lots of european and even US Fannibals have said they want to go, regardless i think both will be fab weekends, even before the guests are announced.
