Man in Michigan synagogue attack lost family members in Israeli airstrike in Lebanon, official says

An official in Lebanon says a man with a rifle who crashed into a large Michigan synagogue in what federal officials are saying was an attac

The ripple effects of the Iran war have spread across the Middle East. Israel has stepped up its attacks on Lebanon following renewed strikes with the Iranian-backed militant group Hezbollah.

A local official in Mashgharah told The Associated Press that Ghazali’s two brothers and a niece and nephew were killed at their home in the airstrike just after sunset as they were having their fast-breaking meal during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

oh, so you're not voting bc "one vote doesn't make a difference?"

if I didn't think my vote mattered, I wouldn't try to convince you to vote. then you wouldn't inspire your family or friends to vote. you wouldn't offer to drive your mom to the voting location, or suggest meeting up with your buddy & getting lunch after. you wouldn't teach your kids (if applicable) how to vote, who wouldn't rag on THEIR friends to join, so they'd go their whole lives (hundreds of votes! thousands!) never having a say.

but I DO vote. even got my wife to start voting in all elections, not just presidential ones. they got their best friend on board, who takes her mom. mom's neighbor didn't have a ride (and doesn't trust mail-ins) so she votes now, too.

It isn't just one vote. I (essentially) turned 1 vote into 5. this is why we're begging folks to get out there. in my (very) small town the ballot measure to allow medical marijuana dispensaries failed by 19 votes. 19!!

basically: join my mlm voting scheme so I can lord it over my peers (and you can, too!)
