Aaliyah attended the premiere of the movie "Batman & Robin" in Los Angeles on June 12, 1997, accompanied by Kidada Jones and Quincy Jones. It was held at Mann's Village Theatre, Westwood, Los Angeles.
Notable attendees were George Clooney, Celine Balitran, Salma Hayek, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Maria Shriver, and many others.

DID YOU KNOW: that after Aaliyah died. Diane was so grief stricken that she refused to come out of her home. Quincy Jones was the only one (of all the family and friends who attempted) who encouraged Diane to come out and get some fresh air.

It has been confirmed that legendary music producer Quincy Jones (who worked with Frank Sinatra and even Michael Jackson) passed away Sunday November 3rd 2024 at the age of 91.

DID YOU KNOW: that after Aaliyah died, Diane Haughton (Aaliyah's mother) was so grief stricken that she refused to come out of her home. Quincy Jones was the only one (of all the family and friends who attempted) who encouraged Diane to come out and get some fresh air.
Diane would attend the Dior Dance for Life to Benefit the Aaliyah Memorial Fund, a Program of the Entertainment Industry Foundation at Private Residence in Bel Air, California (which that 'private residence' was held at Quincy Jones's home) on August 3rd, 2003.
This has been confirmed by some of Aaliyah's friends/peers online who were at this event.
