The end of an era was reached today, The Thrilling Adventure Hour released its last podcasted episode. TAH was, without question, one of the greatest successes to ever come out of the relatively young medium known as podcasting. By releasing episodes of their locally-beloved stage show on the internet, Ben Acker and Ben Blacker created an internationally-beloved juggernaut without losing any of the honest, unpretentious delivery that made the show what it was. 

TAH reinvigorated the dying art of the radio play, and demonstrated that podcasting was a viable way for writers and performers to put out content that was truly their own. On a personal level, The Useless Majors as we know it would never have existed without the influence of The Thrilling Adventure Hour, both creatively (Miles and Jordan BOTH have Thrilling Adventure Hour tattoos) and from a logistics standpoint (we would have nothing to demonstrate that this serialized comedy could work in a non-visual format). 

Thank you for everything, Thrilling Adventure Hour. You opened the door for us as creators, and made our majors just that much more useless.
