After being taught guitar by Eagles legend Don Felder, Tom Petty has gone on to be a legend of his own with his band, The Heartbreakers. He has won 3 Grammy Awards and sold over 70 million albums.

It’s a very sad day at Norman’s Rare Guitars for Norm and the gang. We were just informed about #TomPetty, we are all in shock. Norm just went to see Tom the other night at the Hollywood Bowl, and Norm goes way way back with Tom, and Norm really loves Tom and all the Heartbreakers. One thing that Norm wants everybody to know, is that Tom besides being a great song writer and musician, was a really great guy! What he did for the homeless and @themidnightmission will always be appreciated. Our loves goes out to Dana, Tom’s wife, all the Heartbreakers, Tony D, and Mary from Toms management and the rest of Tom’s crew! We love you! #RIPTomPetty (at Norman's Rare Guitars)
