Just watched a documentary about the Rif revolt of 1958-1959 and it’s chilling… and it was all done with the support and blessing of France. Al Makhzen really is a cruel colonial government and it has been that way since 1956 with the independence of Morocco.
They have no honor no dignity (they call us bounif as an insult and that’s the issue they think having nif is an insult when it’s about pride, honor, dignity…) they are cruel and brainwash their citizens to the point where I’ve seen Moroccans refusing to talk about certain subjects just out of fear.
