☠ An enemy, and why they don’t get along

In the canon bleachverse it’s hard to place a solid enemy for Jewel. In her eyes everyone’s on the same level regardless of species, meaning there’s potential for anyone to be an enemy or an ally. So Shinigami aren’t immediately good in her eyes and Hollows aren’t immediately bad as the stereotypes play out; everyone’s a blank slate.

Aizen should be an easy answer, but Jewel never had any bad experiences with him during his captaincy in the Gotei, and when he was announced as an enemy in the Arrancar war, she didn’t really view him as one at that point either because he’d done nothing to her or anyone she gave a shit about, but he did eventually end up harming people she cared about so I guess he would work for this question lmao.

ϟ Have they ever gotten pleasure from causing others pain?

Not really. Jewel loves fighting but she doesn’t do it for sadistic pleasures. She’s not much of a torturer kinda girl. On the flip side tho, she’s a raging masochist that loves having pain inflicted upon her. She enjoys having her limits put to the test and trying to break them each time so she may last longer, and a part of her gets off on that. That’s also why she stayed with Kakos (and Grimm kinda, diff situation//) as long as she did: he was awful to her at times but she loved their fights. She loves fighting with love interests in general bc she nasty B’I

♚ Do they consider themselves to be evil?

Jewel’s done some bad things but she doesn’t consider herself to be evil– morally questionable maybe. Her stance in the Bleachverse is pretty neutral tbh. She fights on the shinigami side but if she’s befriended a hollow or something and they want her help she’ll help them, depending on the situation. She’s not afraid to play dirty against her own kind if she feels they (whomever’s specifically targeted) deserve it. bASICALLY she’s a gr8 ally to have and a shitty enemy to make.

All OC’s of mine. Jewel is forever my number one and I don’t think that will ever change. I love rping with Chase and Adrian as well. Chase is a dorky but surprisingly intelligent arrancar, and Adrian is a vizored gone rogue/on the run bc on some crimes he’s committed.

She rolled her eyes. Just how she wanted to spend her afternoon-- tolerating a stubborn, rude adolescent with a possible head injury. She hoped she died before she ended up like that.

“No can-do.” She replied. “My name’s Karin, I work at a clinic and all those niceties, and I’m ethically obligated to haul your scrawny ass to the hospital. You could have a concussion, you understand where I’m coming from?” She’d do a preliminary check herself, but she found herself rather unwilling to. It was difficult to muster the motivation when she wasn’t getting paid for the verbal abuse.

this question is an evergreen lmao. i’m afraid i constantly end up disappointing the bloodthirsty crowd but i actually like the bleach fandom. i’m certain you all will understand that i come from a fandom in which there was a loser that went around calling herself ‘queen’, judging the rpers, humiliating and harassing them ; many left because of this person. so when i am asked about the bleach fandom, which seems rather quiet and peaceful to me, i can’t help but disagree with those who say that this place is the tumblr hell. sure, there are problems, but problems are wherever there are people. the bigger the fandom - the more people - the more problems. things could be much worse than this.

There she goes, complaining about the HOLIDAYS again & his first reaction is to roll his eyes. Moments ago, she was complaining about the cold & Ichigo kind of agreed with her since he isn’t the biggest fan of cold weather either ; but now he is sure that she’s PISSY just because she couldn’t find donuts anywhere. “Come on, there’s no reason to get all upset,” he says as he puts his hands in his coat pockets for warmth. “So what if the donuts were SOLD OUT? It’s not the end of the world.”

✮ Sleeping Habits✮

Jewel’s sleeping schedule has always been wonky. She tends to wake up early and train on and off until it’s either late or she passes out. Habitually poor, she loves to stay up late and wake up early to see the sunrise. Also!! Since she mostly works outside, that is where she tends to sleep! There are dedicated trees, patches of land, and special scenic spots (affectionately dubbed “hideyholes”) for sleeping. Sleeping outside was a habit picked up early on in her days in the 11th division. She would sleep outside to “”””build character”” and to also lowkey avoid the man she had fallen for, dated, and eventually had a nasty breakup with. It was a very abusive, unhealthy relationship. Poor sleeping habits are definitely a contribution to her overall grumpiness as a character.

✉ Texting Habits ✉

A phone isn’t an every day item for a shinigami but in the modern era (and her general curiosity of humans) has led her to using one a few times. She’s quite animated with her texting, using all caps or too much punctuation at the ends of her sentences. If you’ve pissed her off (or she just doesn’t like you) she will ignore you, or send a “Fuck off” and leave it at that. She doesn’t do feelsy texts, would rather call or say such things to someone’s face. Small talk will be dropped fairly quickly – text her if you’ve got something to say. Don’t waste her time. Now, all of that’s thrown out the window when she’s intoxicated. She’s completely unhinged, will text eVERYONE and say whatever is on her mind.

✿ Laugh✿

A laugh from Jewel? Hoo boy. Well. A genuine laugh is a wholehearted one! It’s loud and happiness is clearly expressed. Her eyes crinkle and her shark teeth are all nonviolently displayed for once (side-eyes the image used for this reply~). Her shoulders will shake with her laughs and she may lean, and hold her sides if it’s that damn hilarious, whatever it is.

A fake laugh is obvious, a wry one is obvious, ect.. Her body language is always very easy to read and her laughs will conceal nothing.
