note before the fic i headcanon yukio as mute and he’s trying to sign help.
He taps his balled up hand down on his palm with an urgency that makes swallow down her frustration that has her almost yelling at him.
It’s the same sign as he made before when he’d had a melt down causing his voice that she found out wasn’t really a voice became staticky screeches distorted by his overwhelming emotions.
“what now,”the gentleness of her voice suprises him and even more so the arm that pulls him near eventually coaxing a feeling of relief to wash over him.
