A kiss had the meaning you wanted it to.
That was one of the things Aki had always told himself. He had kissed, plenty, but most of those gestures had been like passing thoughts. Unimportant, empty, devoid of significance.
The one he gave to Risa, when the second phase of the games had begun and they had to part ways, however, meant something different.
A whisper: hope that no player manages to beat your game.
A plead: let this not be the last time we see each other.
