              SO LET’S TALK ABOUT ATLAS’ JOHNNY aka @riseflame

First off in this house we love all Johnny’s, any Johnny is a good Johnny like I’ve been blessed to write with so many good ones. But let’s go over a few GREAT THINGS about this one I love. 

Right when you go to their rp blog it’s like BAM smoke and fire and their face claim is a perfect choice for Johnny. Youthful, hip, cool, smokin’ hot Johnny. Like, watch out you’ll actually get burnt their theme is so awesome. I love how it captures the essence of the Human Torch like flame on baby, you lookin’ good! The quote on their blog hits me in the feels hard and I feel you’ve totally captured Johnny’s personality and have an amazing understanding of him in that yes, the nature of a flame is to rise and Johnny’s basically a phoenix. He gets dealt some of the worst hands out of anybody and he rolls with the punches and comes back out on top. 

I love that you have a character study section on your blog and it just seems in your writing and your entire blog that you’ve devoted so much love and effort and time into this character which makes me SO HAPPY, you have no idea. Anytime you’re on my dash I’m like ugH THERE’S MY BABY BOY. Like, I don’t know what to say other than I have so much respect for you as a roleplayer and friend. I know we haven’t written that much together but I’m hoping that will change because honestly I think you’re the coolest and all your muses, especially Johnny, are worth every follow, every like and I hope more people see how amazing your blog is!!!!!!!

“ That’s where you’re WRONG as usual BOY— ” midst Sue’s protests for them both to stop and cut it out he grabbed him by the scruff and shoved him against the wall. 

          “ It’s my job to protect you — ” he jabbed him “ AND her — ” he punctuated livid, “ AND HIM !!!! ” he gestured with a fly away pointed finger in Ben’s direction, “ not just because I’m the smartest or just the guy you elected and said hEY let’s make him leader but because it’s been my responsibility from the very beginning and we’re FAMILY. Look around! You think your sister doesn’t feel the same way— or for all that you bicker you think Ben wouldn’t throw himself in front of a moving bus to push YOU out of the WAY?! ”

He shook him. 

“ DAMN it Johnny we’re always in it together. No matter who it is or what kind of CRAP we’ve pulled or what we’ve screwed up–

FIRE & ICE.         honestly,    the  ultimate  combination.        &    the  perfect  balance  when  it  comes  to   a  friendship  right   ?                                      at  least  that’s  how   bobby  felt.        johnny   &   bobby  had  gotten  to  known  each  other  pretty  well   when   reed   &   professor  x   met  with  each  other.          with  his  arms  crossed,   he  slouched  into  the  couch,    his  x-suit  littered  with  burn  marks ,  leaving  bobby        EXHAUSTED                            he’d  just  got  his  ass  handed  to  him  in  the  danger  room.      by   johnny  of  all  people.       ❛      professor  is  going  to  kill  me  when  he  finds  out  i  let  you  use  it.      at  least  i  know  why  it’s   mutants  only.      regular  superheroes  just     CHEAT.      next  time  i’m  not  going  easy  on  you,  pal.        ❜      bobby  is  just  teasing  in  all  good  fun,   but  still  smirking  as  he  attempts  to  give  johnny  a  faux  cold  shoulder.

        “ it’s one that i’m more than happy to take over. ”  she falls momentarily silent as she focuses on tending to his wounds with all the gentility she can muster.  it’s been a hard won battle, this one, and they’re all a little worse for wear  (or at least, those of them that aren’t blessed with quick healing).  as she finishes one wound and moves to the next, her gaze finally lifts to look him in the face.  

        “ you miss them, don’t you? ”  it’s a silly question  ---  of course he does  ---  but in all the time jan’s known johnny, he’s never been one to talk much about his feelings.  they’ve had very little chance to actually discuss how he’s coping with things, and now seems as good a time as any to open the door on that conversation, if he’ll allow it.

        “ they would be proud of you, you know.  of everything you’re doing...  especially sue. ”
