“I have no idea what to drink first,” she spoke to herself as she finished walking around the table full of different drinks. Sure she didn’t look twenty one yet, but if she hadn’t died she would’ve been over forty years old. Plus with the last formal event she ever went to having been her senior prom, there wasn’t any alcohol there.
observing people and seeing their less than enthused reactions about the ball, hope was angry. her family had taken time and effort to pull this together and opened their home to strangers only for them to come in and discount every little thing that they came across. “if you don’t like it, go home.” the tribrid wasn’t pleased, her birthday had meant to be a happy celebration but it seemed the entire town came and all in bad moods about it.
she was mumbling to herself, clearly the mood of the guests had turned her sour as the night progressed. after watching person after person complain about the ball or the night in general, she just wanted to rip off her bracelet and send them all out the door.
“A child’s birthday party...I have to say this has to be one of strangest invitations I have ever been given. And Alexander once invited me to one of his orgies. Though who could blame him.” He gestures to himself, “Though...sure this...just as interesting.”
