@risenashes & @unholywxrs have heard the howls;
natalia, being the younger and more impulsive hybrid sister, always found it damn near impossible to ignore her all too sensitive canine sense of smell. the creature herself often smelled of a poor wet dog carcass that got set on fire to most supernatural creatures, especially vampires but the world around her topside was abound with many various types of aromas that she just could not resist investigating, even minutely.
“ --- do you smell that? “ it was a strange stench which carried over from a vendor’s truck several blocks away. again, she sniffs the air - an audible noise which surrounds her and the stranger for a matter of milliseconds. “ --- smells like pigs roasting... “
curiosity was known for the metaphorical and premature termination of feline types, but the wolfish hound? perhaps she was in the clear. katerina not too far behind, cannot help but to grin lavishly, eyeing her sister secretively with a sense of all too notable disapproval.
“ i apologize for my sister’s behavior. she ought to know better by now than to let her senses overrule her like that. “
the chastising does not go unnoticed, and it makes natalia sneer.
“ --- there’s nothing wrong with being observant. “ she reminds her before turning to the unfamiliar face. they had work to do here, otherwise why would they have come. they had been, as always, summoned here to carry out their king’s will.
“ now, do tell us, --- “ katerina starts, completely disregarding her sister. “ .... why are we here? “
