monty’s greatest resource is his ability to think around a problem in a creative way that no one else seems to be able to fix

when everyone was shouting about how frustrated they are , he’s the one who figured out they could use arkadia to survive

when jaha had all but given up about the bunker because they didn’t seem to have the right key , monty’s the one who figured out that it WAS the right key

when everyone was talking about war and which side to be on , monty was the one who figured out that there was a way to survive without anyone dying

people sleep on him , but monty is the one with answers and solutions that break the cycles everyone else seems to be stuck in. if anyone can break their cycle of violence and war , it’s him.
