apologists and haters? smh well i feel like i could handle this fandom alot more than the fujoshis haha. it's sad free!dom refused to be mature like that. curious as to why those 2 get hate and what honoka will do, i didn't expect drama lol (1/2)
y eah honestly? brainless fuccbois are much easier to deal with than fujoshi who will dissect every piece scene and line from every media that their ship is involved to attack you with.
with in-fandom drama, it's honestly not too big a deal, but then again maybe i'm just used to it. what i can say without spoiling too much is: nico is obnoxious and always tries to steal the spotlight or come off as the superior one in the group. later in the series she does something kinda petty yet was forgiven fairly easily by the group, after learning about her past (but??? i'll be eternally mad over the anime retconning nico's initial backstory in her school idol diary, which explains that her foul facade stems from her lack of emotional support and trust in people and her family's financial struggle. despite all that, her determination to achieve her goal of becoming an idol is what makes her such an interesting character. too bad the anime didn't want to make her as sympathetic a character as she was intended to be).
as for honoka- right off the bat she pushes her friends out of their comfort zones, subtly manipulates them into doing her biding, she's a freeloader, unintentionally inconsiderate, and pretty useless to the group besides her single-minded determination to get things done with everyone. and she does even more questionable things as the show progresses
so. yeah this dumb idol anime has a lot more in-series drama than one would expect.

yeah s2's finale... while underwhelming wasn't a complete piss off. besides trolling harus chara & leaving sosuke unresolved, it was as Decent as u can get w/ kyoani haha. it was great if u were a makoharu fan lol
never can expect too much out of kyoani endings anyway hm. tbr most of the gifs that i've seen of the ending are 90% makoharu staying together. that's nice and all but. damn. i have no idea what everybody else is doing.
