since its gonna be a hot year heres some tips for dealing with any heatwaves
-if you have a mosquito net, open your windows at night to let the cool air in
-put a bowl of water or ice in front of your fan so it can blow the cool air around
-humid heat is worse than dry heat so you might want to try running a dehumidifier in your house
-wear lighter colours, flowier fabrics and clothing pieces like dresses made of cotton or linen in yellows and whites
-even so, its better to cover more skin since you will get hottest wherever is exposed to the sun
-drink things like coconut water, lemonade, slushies, mint drinks
-eat things like watermelon, cucumbers, and grapes
-taking cold showers
-using ice packs near pulse points since thats where your blood vessels are closest to your skim
-if the UV is above 8 stay out of the sun completely stay in the shade DO NOT try to tan
-if you have very thick hair, getting a thinning at home or at the barber will make your hair more breathable
bonus make sure to get your electrolytes since you'll lose a lot when you sweat,, eat beans, seads, whole grains and legumes and use things like Gatorade flavour packets added to water for max hydration
