There are only a few more days to get August’s print for my Riso Print Subscription! Here are two prints I sent out for June and May- and July’s is coming soon! If you want to hop in on August’s print you can sign up through the link in my bio- but it must be done before august 1st! The way it works is you pay on the first of the month, I get to work on a new riso print and then I send it out to you at the end of the month! I also write a little description of what I printed and how- some behind the scenes, sketches and thoughts, plus riso file set up + more! The prints are always cheaper than in my shop (because they’re blind prints- I never know what I’ll be making!) and they’re always a fun and fantastical print ✨ Thinking about making a discord for the Patreon too…is that something anyone would want?? Here’s the final print for May’s Monthly Riso Print subscription and it’s also in my shop now! Link in bio for both the subscription and my shop 🌻❤️ I decided to continue the Makers series with this piece about a farmer sharing her hard work at the market. The Latin reads ‘provider of health and happiness’ because I’m always thrilled with what I’ve bought at my local farmers market and I always eat much healthier the week after too!! This is a three color Risograph print in blue, fluorescent pink and yellow. Figuring out the values on this piece was so difficult but I’m so happy with how it came out. It’s a crowded piece but I really wanted to show the abundance and beauty of color at the farmers market! This print was also made for @giantrobotstore’s fruits and veggies show which opened last weekend at their store in Sawtelle. I’ll be at GR2 next weekend selling prints and stickers and pins! I started the Makers back in early 2019 and I’m happy to be adding some new ones to the batch this year. 🥦 I’ll be sending out new additions of this series to all my Riso Subscription tier patrons this summer/the next few months. I also write up a little description of how i made the Riso print and share some behind the scenes thoughts, sketches and mistakes. I make a color and value breakdown for the prints too! 🫐It’s a great way to support my work if you enjoy it! It also helps me experiment with Riso and fantasy/adventure drawings without worrying about the cost of supplies or if the print will sell.
