Graffiti is all about cycles of writing. Whether that be because of the authorities buffering off art or another writer spraying over your work with something better, there's a constant drive to improve and respray areas. The exception to this rule is a piece that you can't paint over with something better or something that has history to it, whether that be because of significance gained with age or the artist that sprayed it. Rekka's 2DMV art has a few interesting graffiti tidbits.
Off to the right of the Rekka art is a spray that appears to be a homage to Nagi. It's missing the "i" from "Nagi", but it's pretty obvious that it's meant to be Nagi with the N, A, and G in a white instead of black. Plus, the colors and flowers at the edges of the piece remind me very strongly of the Gekokujo set, when An is told that Nagi is dead.
In graffiti culture, the crown is something that is used as a symbol of a graffiti legend's piece or tag, something that is generally frowned upon for self-use by amateurs. It's a little displaced by the window(?) above the spray, but there's a crown above NAG. Nagi would definitely have earned the crown for her role in RAD WEEKEND and her presence on Vivid Street, so the crown makes complete sense. The fact that the bottom part of the crown above NAG looks like a halo, however, is an obvious reference to Nagi's dead status.
There's a lot of respect towards dead graffiti artists in graffiti culture. Graffiti is all about getting your art out there, and the biggest obstacles to that are the authorities buffing off walls, jail, and death. Considering Vivid Street is covered in graffiti, and it's a staple of the community, those first two are pretty much off the table.
With RAD WEEKEND as a tribute for Nagi's death to cover the main source of Vivid Street's beating heart, it was inevitable that there would be tribute graffiti.
One of the main rules of graffiti is that you don't spray over or vertically above another person's work unless you want to start a fight or your piece is more complicated/intricate/has more effort put in it than theirs. Above Kohane is a piece that, from what little I can see of it, looks like Vivid BAD SQUAD sprayed over RADDER or RAD WEEKEND. Spraying over it with their group name is a declaration of superiority, likely of their goal of surpassing RAD WEEKEND or foreshadowing how close they were to doing so.
Bonus Details:
There's a tag that says "HOPE!" underneath the maNAGe piece. How dramatically ironic.
Forgive the shakiness, I'm doing this on trackpad.
More of the flowers that are around maNAGe by An's feet
Very obvious crying decal between An's legs
Cinema sticker on the box(?) Akito's lounging on
Two "regret"s crossed out in red, one outlined in white and one written with a thick white that made me think about Kohane's Beat Eater card where she destroyed the "not" in "I'm not confident" to make a negative phrase positive
Anatomically correct heart with VBS colors
"up" with an arrow decal pointing up
Two clasped hands surrounded by fire
I'm fairly certain the word in black says "BELIEVE" based off what I can see poking out from behind the tree and the given letters
I need Shiho to be absolutely horrified at Tsukasa playing a bass guitar. That's her instrument, what do you mean Tsukasa of all people also knows how to play. Why. How.
He's a freaking pianist, he already has an assigned instrument. Put the bass down, dude. It's not even orange or yellow to match this clown.
You know, there have been 21 Leo/need commissioned songs, and not a single one of them has touched on the possible lion imagery that's in their band name.
Every composer so far has focused on a more general star or space theme as opposed to the specific constellation of Leo. The closest we've gotten was Regulus, but that focused on the 4=1 nature of the star instead of how it's the brightest star in Leo.
Like how thematically awesome would it be to have a song comparing the fierceness of lions to Leoni's drive and passion, or something in that vein? Or using the general view of lions as proud territorial creatures juxtaposed against their social natures and pride tendencies to reference, once again, Leoni's devotion to each other and their dream?
I wonder if Colopale meant to make the PJSK siblings have the same positions in their respective units.
Shiho and Shizuku are both fourth in their unit screens while Ena and Akito are both third. I assume Saki and Tsukasa are also meant to be in the same role but Tsukasa being a unit leader meant he'd have to be first so Saki was relegated to second.
There's also the little caveat of Shiho being fourth when I'm pretty sure she should be third if Colopale ordered each unit based on their main story importance/who met the unit leader and in what order. As far as I can tell, the units mostly line up with this theory.
Ichika and Saki convince Shiho to join fledgling Leo/need before getting Honami as well (Notice the very obvious discrepancy of Honami and Shiho)
Minori is inspired by Haruka, Airi offers to mentor her, they (sort of) deal with Shizuku's issues concerning Cheerful*Days
Kohane partners with An, they(An) fight with Akito, they (kinda) resolve Touya's commitment issues
Tsukasa gets assaulted/recruited by Emu, the whole conflict over RoboNene happens and Tsukasa apologizes to Nene, Rui gets his SEKAI apology show
Kanade collabs with Mafuyu, Ena makes fanart, Mizuki uses the fanart for an MV
Did Colopale stagger the siblings on purpose so that Shiho and Shizuku wouldn't also be third with Ena and Akito? I know they sometimes use unit positions on promotional materials and stuff like the anthologies.
Was I supposed to find out on my own that zooming out of card art in the character mission books shows extended card artwork? For that matter, zooming in lets you get pretty good closeups of card art.
[Used Shiho because she's my favorite and this is a gorgeous card]
Neppu MV: So everyone's in a snowy field. Do I want to know why or how they got there? Do I want to debate the symbolism of the snow or the flowers overtaking the field in the end of the MV? No. [That's a lie, I do, there's just very little to go off of]
What I want to know is: Who would survive the cold longest?
Most of the girls are wearing skirts, or in the case of An, a crop top, so they are automatically eliminated. Shorts are practically embedded in Len's design, Touya's pants have rips in them, Akito's pants don't reach his ankles, leaving bare skin, and I can see Rui's ankles in his 3D model. [I felt like a scandalized Victorian Era noble typing that.]
That leaves us with KAITO, Tsukasa, and Mizuki as the characters that are fully covered. Mizuki is wearing the fewest layers of the three, so she's eliminated first. Tsukasa is wearing 3 layers (dress shirt, vest, & overcoat), but KAITO has 2 layers and an absurdly long scarf, so he's still in the running. Looking at KAITO's overcoat though, the back has an insanely long cut in it, so Tsukasa would last longest in a snowy field.
Who's getting frostbite first? Definitely MEIKO. Sorry queen, you are not wearing a whole lot.
