My Ostara Ritual
Ostara, the Spring Equinox, is a time for rebirth and the return of life in nature.
So for my new Ostara Ritual, I decided to go out in nature to witness the peaceful regrowth.
No one has to do this ritual. This is just one way that I found to celebrate Ostara.
🌸
1. Find a place to connect to nature. I went to a nature reserve. You can also go to a park, a green house, or a room with a great window view of your yard. Anywhere you feel you can connect to nature.
🌸
2. Meditate, ponder, connect. now in your chosen place. Connect to your surroundings, think about the meaning of Ostara or the Equinox. You can feel the fresh new power in the air. I did this by going on a walk through the nature reserve's paths and bird watching.
🌸
3. Cast a circle. I found a circle of dirt next to a pond and cast my circle. This can be done by locating the four directions (North, East, South, West) from within your circle area and giving thanks to each direction, which signify the four elements (Earth, Air, Fire, Water). If you wish, you can also give thanks to the Nameless Ones, or the God/Goddess of your choosing. You can also give a little speech about spring, or just think the words, do a specific spell, or anything you wish honestly.
🌸
4. Eat some chocolate. I had a chocolate coin and I welcomed the coming of spring by breaking it in half and eating it in my circle. I munched it while I listened to the birds and watched the pond.
Why chocolate? Cause it's tasty. If you don't like chocolate, then use your favourite candy, baked good, treat, or fruit.

Most importantly on Ostara/Spring Equinox
Take this time to feel the renewal of your energy. Do whatever you want to that will refresh your will, energy, and peace of mind. New beginnings are coming. Be thankful for second chances and opportunities that will come to you in the Spring. ❤🍓🌈
