Scotland’s national contemporary dance company is back at the Traverse! This exciting double-bill from Scottish Dance Theatre pairs TuTuMucky by Botis Seva alongside RITUALIA, the vivid new work by Colette Sadler.
TuTuMucky is a fresh, rhythmic and explosive exploration of how we’re shaped by the world around us. Seva’s work challenges conventions and blurs boundaries between ballet, contemporary dance and hip-hop technique.
RITUALIA is Sadler's interpretation of Stravinsky and Nijinska's 1920s ballet Les Noces. Transforming the audience into futuristic voyeurs to explore gender, presentation and fashion, RITUALIA is a thought-provoking visual feast.
