So tell me, why is it that only when I shiver and my skin bruises under the rope you have woven around my body to keep me tied that I feel truly FREE.

Whenever Austria picks up his violine or sits down at the piano and starts to play, it's like a private concert for Hungary, who lets herself be swept away on the waves of sound until she's far from the shore.
Day 6 (June 10): Private concert | “I think this a much better date idea than..."
It wasn’t the wedding they wanted. It wasn’t a wedding out of love or free choice.
“I wish I had a say in this.”
“I wish so too.”
It was a wedding the ones around them had planned and arranged without taking their feelings into consideration, but despite it all, it grew into a matrimony of love.

...in which Allen is the devil constantly sitting on Matthew's shoulder or waiting in his dreams to haunt him. Will Matthew manage to get rid of him for good? Or does he enjoy the company and power that comes with a supernatural guardian too much to ever turn back?

...in which Allen is a fallen angel and Matthew is trying to resist a bittersweet temptation. When Matthew's definition of true freedom is redefined by Allen's story, his entire worldview is on the brink of being changed. Are the stars alligned for Allen to find a companion after having fallen out of their gods favour? Is Matthew ready to recant all the beliefs he was taught are right?

coffee shop. university. florist/tattooist.
...in which Matthew is just trying to make ends meet with his two jobs at the local coffee shop and some extra hours at the flower shop next door and Allen is a college drop out trying to find his purpose in life. Things are easy and peaceful enough for Matthew, until he has to deal with all kinds of unexpected feelings for the new guy working in the tattoo studio across the street who stops by the café every morning. But is freshly brewed coffee the only hot thing Allen is interested in?
