[ headcanons? did somebody say headcanons? :3 ]

After Isabela leaves, Fae is furious. She's at a point in her life where she's lost everything, and Isabela was one of the last friends she had left. Only she didn't die like the others, she left. At this point she teeters on the edge of "fuck Kirkwall"/buggering off, and murdering everything in sight. Thankfully for the city, she chooses to murder everything in sight.

She agrees to the Arishok's duel because if anyone is going to murder Isabela right then, it's gonna be her.

After Isabela's kiss, Fae's still furious. Only now, she's furious that she wants to forgive her. She wants to be angry, wants to hate her but it's far too painful both physically and mentally (for real all that pacing was half "pace through the pain" and half frustration).

Every time after that that Isabela leaves Kirkwall be it just to go on a runabout on her boat, or just time to herself, Fae resents it. It's easier to resent it than be terrified that she wont come back.

Muse Relationship Headcanons

Anders never really fully trusts Isabela. They have fun together, sure, and she is one of those most willing to listen when he goes on a drunken rant about mage rights and mage freedom—having her own share of struggles with freedom in her past, though she certainly never reveals that to him. Despite this, though, he always gets the feeling that she is holding something back, and he is constantly aware that out of all the companions, she would be the one most likely to sell him out to the Templars if she were offered the right price. Still, superficially at least, he enjoys her company, and appreciates her irreverent nature.

Pierre, as a rule, respects women and their independence. This is the same for Isabela. He loves the fact that she’s free, strong-willed, and wild and would never change a thing about that. However, he does get attached enough to the point where he wonders if she would ever settle down. Because he realizes that she loves her freedom so much, he is happy being friends and never mentions anything about being more.
