i fucking love Deku and Bakugous rivalry and i never want it to change.

at first we see Deku, deifying his childhood friend/bully who treats him like shit, wanting nothing more than to be seen as his equal. and Bakugou of course, who insists on being a truckload of turds. 

Then unlike other protags, who desperately try for seasons to relate to their angsty class/team mate and become their friend, Deku just goes; “yknow what? fine. R I V A L S.  fucking come at me.”  he’s accepted that Bakugou’s likely never going to respect him or see him as a friend and he just doesn’t care anymore. He still cares for him to some degree but now he just refuses to put up with his shit.  It’s honestly refreshing and i would die for Midoriya Izuku.
