Since heās still very much traveling, like, all of the time, most of his nights are spent camping, in a Pokemon center, or, if heās feeling fancy or he has work in that city, heāll get a hotel room.Ā
His room at home is still decorated like it was growing up with very few adjustments- the ceiling now has glow in the dark stars on it like he always wanted growing up but Mary wouldnāt let him, heās since upgraded his video game system to a switch and thereās like four different pet beds in there because the Pokemon at home use it as their room.....though they usually just sleep on his bed. Thereās a lot of Bidoof and Skitty hair on it.Ā
His mom does not charge rent, but does jokingly say that sheāll fine him if he makes a mess in the house.Ā

right so i had to draw a diagram for this
as you can see here, these boys are both in roughly the same pose, with one or more hand(s) in their hoodies. at a glance, you could judge that raihan is taller than guzma. however there are two key points we must examine for each boy before we can determine who is taller: presence of neck, and severity of slouch.Ā
guzmaās neck is basically shaped like an isosceles triangle, he has what is known as a āfalse neckā at the front (to fool predators) that makes it appear as if he may have more than just a throat, but it tapers off so that the back of his head is directly connected to his shoulders and spineĀ
raihan has a normal human neck
guzma has a very severe slouch, and obtained it because heās a little rebelboy who donāt give NO cares about good posture
raihan is capable of having good posture, but chooses not to because itās uncomfortable and makes him look too formal
taking these two points into consideration, it is clear that if guzma had been born with a neck, he would appear to be taller. alternatively, if raihan was not born with a neck, he would appear to be shorter.Ā

"Wow, what a strong start from the Dee-vine Bede herself! Look at her skillfully jumping from platform to platform! She seems to be carefully grasping to the end of the steps to brace herself as she jumps to the next one, costing her some precious seconds. But it's much better to be safe than sorry!"
Machamp's Low Sweep -- 109 seconds
"Oh dear. It seems as if all of that time gain has been lost during the subsequent obstacle. Thankfully she managed to stay on the platform, but Dee took a few unfortunate spills on the narrow platform.āĀ

Falinks Hill -- 98 seconds
"Oohā¦ Another rough section as Bede tries to scale the mountain of rolling spheres and then safely make her way back down the other side! She stumbled a bit less than the last section, but the clock is quickly running out! Will she be able to clutch the win for her team in the next section?"
Shapeshiftin' Ditto -- 76 seconds
"She's now face-to-face with her last opponent -- the shapeshifting Ditto! She doesn't have much time to spare, folks. Even with her Fast Ball pin equipped, if she falls off the platform and into the water, she likely won't have enough time to recover and try again!āĀ
āShe freezes in place, watching the Pokemon-themed cut-outs spin in a circle. It seems she's going to try for the Hatterene-themed cutout! Best of luck! She waits, timing it just right and jumps forward on the trampoline -- success! She stops the clock, and she's done it! Head held high, she advances to the bonus stage to attempt to knock Ball Guy off of his floating throne!"

Ā Ā Ā Piers is still jet-lagged but heās here anyway because he promised Dee that heād provide some answers. Ones that heās sure that Leonās not going to provide himself. Heād even brought some things just in case he missed something. Admittedly heād just printed out some articles from the time and called it a day there, but he figured theyād be able to give information even if they were told with the cold, detached tone that most celebrity death articles did.
Ā Ā Ā Theyād settled on a cafe to meet at, Piers figured it would be easier to soften the harder information if sweets were readily accessible, and heād even gone through the trouble of ordering a variety of sweets that were already on the table. He hadnāt touched them because he hadnāt felt hungry. Knew he wouldnāt. Either way it was an uncharacteristically splurge-y purchase for Piers, and it was really just because he didnāt want to leave Dee without anything there for comfort.
Ā Ā Ā Heās drumming out a tune with his fingers, though. Heās not sad. Not really, right now anyway. He missed Raihan, sure, but death was a part of life. Even if that death was young and tragic, it would happen. He was more... nervous than anything. Bede had said sheād hurt Leon, and Piers wanted to be sure he was careful about how he chose his words and tried to explain things from Leonās perspective because he hadnāt seen it all firsthand. Heād just heard details and seen parts of the aftermath at the funeral. He wasnāt thatĀ emphatic of a person, but even his stomach had twisted at how empty Leon had seemed there. It hadnāt been hard to tell heād been hurt.
