Hi, hello! Thought I might ask you too. Would Bea and Riven ever want children? What do you think about this one bc I seriously have to know.  😇

Alrighty, I didn't know what to do about this one because pregnancy has been a bit sensitive topic for me lately, but let's get on with it. I don't really mind talking about it.

You know what I think, Scar? I think they would be great parents. Beatrix would be so scared of pregnancy and childbirth, would also fiercely deny that, fearing she might fail her child. Beatrix would be a great mum, growing up without one but with a loving (and sometimes a bit difficult) father made her realise that family always came first. She would also need someone to tell her she wouldn't fail and would do this right, and it's where Riven comes in. Riven would also be scared, I think, would try to laugh it all off once or twice. However, his attitude would simply go out the window when he saw that she truly had a war raging inside her head.

Neither of them would be able to take their eyes off their little bundle of joy, finally aware that they would do anything to see their child smile.

I need to hear an honest opinion. Hypothetically, if Bea and Riv decided to grow old together would they have children? Asking for a friend.

I AM READY to answer this.

Hypothetically speaking, in a canon where Beatrix is resurrected and Riven forgives her and she's working on being good, I think Bea wouldn't want children for the longest time. The idea of a pregnancy would freak her out and Riven, who likes to preach about keeping things casual, would be terrified of the long term commitment. Between Riven and Bea there's daddy and mommy issues for years, so they'd have to deal with all that and it would take a lot of time.

That said, I do think Riv and Bea want a family. They both don't have one, they both come from broken homes (Riven's is arguable, since canon never bothered to develop there, but it's not a stretch), they both love fiercely. Beatrix sold out the only guy who ever shown her kindness and love for her father, you cannot tell me this is a woman who doesn't value family.

(Much like Bloom, she searches where she belongs)

So yeah, tl;dr I do think they'd one day be parents. Via pregnancy or not, definitely via accident and in a muuch distant future, but they both crave a family of their own the same to justify this.

I can't write to save my life, which is why I have to beg people to fix season 2! I have a little prompt if that's okay with you. Bea was one of the first fairies to go missing, meaning the fight between her and Riven never happened. Can I ask for some whump  😏 

You can ask for whump, but that won't stop me from serving angst. I tweaked the prompt a bit, so Bea actually goes missing straight after tattling Riven at the end of 2x02.

I did attempt to "fix-it" though!
