River Affric, Scottish Highlands by Tony Via Flickr: Glen Affric is listed in the Caledonian Pinewood Inventory, and contains the third largest area of ancient Caledonian pinewoods in Scotland. Due to the importance of this woodland it has been classified as a national nature reserve since 2002, and holds several other conservation designations.

This was the last place I found to get an angle on the base of the falls. To get here I had to hop over a series of boulders in the river.

After a series of small drops, the river tumbles down a long fall. The pathway down allows a view of the falls from about halfway down.
