This application being written in the first person gives everyone a good feel for his personality. We get the carefreeness of the hippie-mother mixed with someone who actually cares a lot. Once can really see the thought and development put into the character, with a clearly developed backstory that is well-formed and well-established, and it’s certainly going to be interesting to see what the future has in store for him and those around him.

What is your full name, and when were you born?
River grins at the interviewer, “Ok sure, my full name? River Lennon. What can I say, my mom’s a little bit of a hippie!” He laughs, “Sure thing! I was born on October 17th in the great year of 1995.”
Have you been claimed, or do you belong to a legacy? If yes, state your godly parent / heritage.
River nods his head, brushing some of the curls back as they fall into his eyes. “Yeah, I’ve been claimed! My dad is Eros. I mean don’t freak out about it or anything, it doesn’t make me anymore special than anyone else. Truth be told, I think I could have a better godly parent who hasn’t been such a dick to people I care about but he knows how I feel about that.” He shrugs his shoulders, “I mean it does have its perks! I like to think I haven’t let it get to my head that my dad is who he is!”
Where are you currently based? Are you attending a Camp (Half-Blood / Jupiter), or are you living full-time in New Athens / New Rome? Is it a combination of both?
“I’m currently living in New Athens with my boyfriend! It’s pretty cool, actually. I mean, I wish the circumstances were better but it’s a pretty nice set up!” He beams, “Plus, I get to see some of my Roman family who lives here and got to the University. I was never really big on school so I decided not to go, but more power to whoever goes, I guess. I spend a lot of time at the art gallery. It’s really nice there!”
Can you tell us a little bit about yourself? ( If you’re applying for a canon character, are you diverging from book-canon? If so, how?)
“Sure I can tell you anything you want to know! I tend to overshare so just stop me if it’s too much, alright? Don’t be afraid to tell me to shut up,” he chuckles. “I grew up in Florida and my mom worked a lot when I was younger. She read auras and shit for tourists it was really cool. I can kind of sense that stuff too but only when it’s emotions regarding,” he clears his throat, “my dad’s area of expertise.” River grins again, clearly trying to change the subject, “Anyway, I had a really nice time making friends when I was at Camp Half-Blood! I made friends with all kinds of people, I think people didn’t expect me to. I think a few people almost blew a fuse when they first found out who I was dating too. That’s really none of their business though, I just found it super funny.”
River snaps his fingers, “Oh yeah! I have two older sisters, they’re both Amazons now! It’s pretty awesome and, honestly, it makes me think of them like twin Wonder Womans? They might actually kill me if they heard me say that…”
What were you doing prior to The Recall?
“Prior to The Recall? Shit, man. I mean I was still living in New Athens. Life is kind of dangerous when you’re dating a son of Hades. You can’t exactly stroll into New York City and expect a nice dinner without the probability of instant death hanging over your head. I guess it doesn’t really make a difference, now. I’m more worried about my mom by herself but, shit, she can handle herself I guess,” he shrugs his shoulders.
