I found out yesterday that one of my best friends in the world, one of only about 4 people I call sister, was in a horrific car accident on Sunday night.. hit by this bitch who was high on pills and drunk. But I didn't know the extent of her injuries or anything, just that she's on a ventilator in the hospital and was airlifted from the scene...
Now her brother-in-law is finally filling me in and I feel so fucking sick.
My sweet sister has had one of her feet amputated, has a fractured tailbone, punctured lungs, something really bad with her gallbladder bleeding when she first got there, she was supposed to have surgery yesterday for her hand and arm but had a temp of 103 so they had to postpone, and more.. so much more... I'm in shock. I can't stop crying. I've been crying on and off since I found out yesterday and I just can't. fucking. believe this would happen to one of the most loving, caring, giving, compassionate, forgiving, kind people on this planet. Amanda has literally less than not a bad bone in her body. You can't even say "mean" or "hurtful" and Amanda in the same sentence. She has never said or done a mean thing in the entire 10 years I've known her. Not to me, not to anyone else I've ever seen or heard of.
This is unfathomable.
And the worst part is, she's a Christian. She believes in God and good things happening to good people who do good (she works with disabled and special needs kids as a nurse btw) and this is going to rock her faith to the core. I don't know what to fucking to with myself. She's all the way up in Salem NC so I can't even just go see her, not that she'd know I was there, they're keeping her asleep mostly because of the pain and just GOD.
WHY THE FUCK DOES SHIT LIKE THIS HAPPEN TO THE BEST PEOPLE ON EARTH? She has a fucking 4 year old son and a husband.. she's been through so much hell, losing her dad 5 or 6 years ago, having a mentally challenged sister with health issues, having a devastating miscarriage before her son, and so much more. She doesn't have money. She's very financially unstable and has no health insurance... God dammit.
This little bitch who hit her head on with her car better fucking pay for this. She better be sued into the millions so Amanda is set for the rest of her life and that bitch better go to jail.
I can't fucking believe any of this is happening.
