Julia is honestly living her best life after years of Chen's dissaproving looks. Argent will never let Steel live this down (and also happy that this 100% makes people forget that she also kissed Sidestep). Herald probably regrets ever taking the hero drug rn.

And Chen? well he's just going to have to find more subtle places to kiss his villain boyfriend - the papparazi is truly everywhere.

How does River dress? Has that changed between his days as Sidestep and now? Does his specific villain career affect his wardrobe?

The official tags in game would be "Fashionable Military Surplus". Which is the best way I could think to translate the vibes of techwear.

River has always dressed mostly with comfort and practicality in mind. And comfort = layering for safety reasons for him. He always makes sure to wear at least his comfort color (shades of blue. if it wasn't obvious about the everything about him), or a specific comfort item (usually a favorite/gifted article. Like the pair of Ranger-merch socks he hopes is hidden in his boots at all times).

In the Rebirth days he wore exclusively hoodies, sweatpants (camo pants if he was feeling fancy), and boots (sometimes crocs.... dont judge him).

Now that he can afford it (stealing from banks and villains is a lucrative endeavor) River does dress with more intent of it looking somewhat good. Better fabrics, sturdy but able to breathe, more... fashionable? He wears a leather harness/holster situation now. For completely normal fashion reasons. Prommy (lying).

In the way of art. I tend to change up his tops but I always keep the color palette to same. And I always color in his socks with the color palette I use for Ranger suits. This villain wears Ranger Merch!

y'all know that one spiderman and deadpool panel? Yeah, that's Chen and River's post-reveal dynamic. Sidestep has become 20x more insuferable.

Revised-River basic sidestep sheet post-retribution <3 Anarchist (remove) villain route. Suicide scar -> Revenge scar+ suitag. Justice motiv. Self-rival -> Argent rival. He got the self-crash guilty ending. Because of high steel_clue and not being repentkill (he is a knownkill and agentkill). Yes his boyfriend situationship ratted him out. Chen then proceeds to also break him out so like - mixed signals man. Like we didn't have to be here!! BUT WHATEVERR.

River is also in a horrid mess w/ Mortum rn.... and had too low relationship (BY LIKE. 2%) for him to break River out ＞︿＜.

And lastly... He got fucked up TWICE by Argent. First in rebirth, earning him a facialscar, second at the end of guilty ranger ending where she gauged his eye out <3. (now the best thing would be for them to somehow becomes best friends so River can make passive-aggressive jokes about the eye forever).
