So let me get this straight, Hiram can be the mayor and a kingpin, F.P can be the sheriff and a gang leader but Archie can't play music and do football?

I am watching riverdale from the beginning of season 4 now that it's on Netflix.

And this show is getting more and more unrealistic 😂😂😂

Seriously, the most realistic thing about season 4 was Archie and Betty cheating. And this writing of this show... I mean I just can't. 🤦🏼‍♀️

The Bret (Y/N) Rivalry

Just a plot less Bret Wallis one shot because he deserves more love js.  

It all started with a rivalry. You met Bret at the end of August going into your Junior year. As fate would have it, he was your tour guide on your first day at Stonewall Prep. 

Due to a job offer you and your family were forced to move at the end of your sophomore year. At first, you were furious. You were thriving as sophomore president and finally moving up the theater ladder enough to get solid roles in the shows, not to mention you had managed to remain first in your class for the second year in a row. You were burnt out most days of course, but that was how you liked it. You loved the thrill of winning and your ambition tended to get the better of you. 

That being said, it was clear as day from your first encounter with Bret Weston Wallis that your personalities would clash in a very unhealthy way. 

The tour was filled with sarcastic comments that quickly turned into full-on debates on topics ranging from philosophy to world literature. It was abundantly clear that he knew and loved his literature. While you were drawn more towards the sciences, you had paid enough attention in English class to hold your own during debates and even eventually cause him to start questioning his own opinions on his favorite classics. 

As the school year went on, Bret became more threatened by you and it showed. Whenever he went to the library to study he would find that you were already there with multiple textbooks cracked open in front of you. Whenever he went to raise his hand in class he would find that you had raised yours first and had been called on. 

Before long, the entire school and faculty were aware of the Bret and (Y/N) rivalry. It was obvious in the way you two fought on correct answers before the teacher finished asking the question and exchanged progress reports as soon as they were received to check who was ahead. 

The only places you were free of each other were on the football field or stage.

Even your roommates were sick of you bitching on and on about each other. One day, your roommate Heidi finally asked why you didn’t just go and tell him what you thought of him instead of forcing her to listen to it, and, with fierce determination, you agreed. 

Heidi didn’t see you again until the next morning. What had begun as a heated debate had morphed into a heated make out session. Months of frustration had poured out into one hard, desperate kiss, which turned into many more after that. 

You couldn’t deny you felt ashamed that first night you spent together, yet you came back for more barely a week later. There was just something about the way he touched you and held you when you were alone that made you ache in ways you didn’t understand. You never slept better than the nights you spent pressed up against him, his arm thrown lazily over your stomach. 

Nothing changed during the day. The Bret (Y/N) rivalry lived on with as much passion, if not more than before. However, the more nights you spent together, the more different he became behind closed doors. You began to realize how much he loved to be held when the lights were off and no one could see. 

You would spend some nights just holding each other as tightly as possible without saying a word. You would spend others ranting on and on about some event during the day while the other sat quietly and listened. It wasn’t until Heidi made a cheeky comment that you realized you had been spending more nights sleeping in Bret’s bed than your own. You had wanted to apologize for spending less time with her, but you couldn’t because you no longer felt guilty of the nights you spent listening to his voice and running your fingers through his short blonde hair.

That’s when you realized you had fallen in love with the boy that put you through so much stress and frustration, yet brought you so much joy and excitement. And that night, when he lazily whispered those three little words to you as he fell into a deep sleep, you knew he felt the same.

I feel like Betty didn't throw the last diary because it had memories of jughead in it, not aRcHiE.

2 questions that need answers.

Where the hell was Moose the whole time?

He supposed to return in next week's episode but where was he?

Where the hell is Chuck?

We never got a real answer. Did he change schools? Move to the states? What happened? It's like he just disappeared. His father is there, so where is Chuck?

I need an answer to these 2 particular questions because I'm still confused af.

Why is no one talking about the weirdness that is Riverdale right now. Literally the episode where Edgar built a rocket and looked like a stunt man from the 70’s, Betty’s mom kills him and then we just move on like nothing has happened. What even was this episode?? And then suddenly Falice is a thing again out of nowhere?? Not to mention the Halloween episode where Veronica lights a person on fire. It’s the most rediculous trash on television and yet I am all here for it.
