TO HIS KNEES  he sinks,  the pads of his hands just barely masking a face full of lovelorn anguish.   above his head,  a tricked-out private jet flies further  &  further into the great beyond,  his first second real love riding comfortably in plush leather seats with a gigantic pile of fashion magazines in her lap.   ❛   veronicaaaaa.....   ❛   he wails dramatically,  too DISTRESSED to care that betty had taken the car  &  left,  probably to meet up with that shiny new boyfriend of hers.   no betty.   no ronnie.   he really was gonna die alone !
