if nothing else please look at this really cute and impressive dance routine called Trading Taps, it's about cultural exchange between black tap dancers and irish step dancers during the height of irish immigration to places like new york and it's SO full of joy and respect and brightness and there's also a touch of flirting between the lead guy of each group as well lol

The wealth of the poor is in song, dance, and story. Under the street lamps in the new cities, the dancers perform with pride in their heritage, curious to see what other traditions bring, struggling to bridge the gap between old dreams and new realities.
