i dont think any show has ever peaked and then absolutely crashed within 3 episodes the way riverdale did like. i can continue to enjoy it for the glee vibe of it all, as a whole, but theres no way to recover from what we thought it was gonna be from the first two eps (really ridiculous but genuinely cute and pretty gay) and then the complete left turn it took. Dark Betty ruined the entire show

it really is depressing how betty/veronica never went anywhere. like yeah the kiss in the pilot was always bait but it still was going to be a pretty good ship... veronica is SO nice and forward with betty shes so so gay... but then like immediately betty started behaving like a complete freak and then they forgot to bother showing them like, actually being friends... for a long while... maybe its been better in s2 but it just. sucks that betty sucks! the first two episodes had so much potential for them lmao. why do shows like this always have to have a blatant writer's pet character who is awful to watch and gets away with doing awful shit
riverdale is the worst show on tv and i fucking love it
