Les natifs de la région expliquaient que certaines rivières du Mont Shasta étaient constituées des larmes des daims et que c'était pour ça qu'on ne voyait jamais Bambi pleurer en public, même quand on tue sa maman. Mes larmes ont rejoint celles des daims : ces tribus Shasta ont vécu plus de 7000 ans ici peinardes et ont été décimées en un siècle.
