Good evening! (or afternoon or morning, depending on where in the world you are...)

My 2015 tumblr year has been quite something; it’s the year I’ve, to some degree, finally let go of being a multifandom-blog. Let’s face it, since I began watching The Musketeers (closing in on a year since I entered the fandom - wow) it’s all Muskies here. I even became IHEARDYOUBROKEAWINDOW. 

I want to thank a few people for making my dash a very special place recently; @riversidewren @lizcavil @chancellorfangirl, amongst others. You guys make my dash a special place! 

A happy new year to everyone out there - be safe!

If I were...

If I were a month, I would be March. If I were a day of the week, I would be Tuesday. If I were a planet, I would be Venus. If I were a god or goddess, I would be Gelos. If I were an animal, I would be a panther. If I were a gemstone, I would be an Indian Sapphire. If I were a flower, I would be a tulip. If I were a kind of weather, I would be that breeze that promises the season’s change (does that count?). If I were a color, I’d be a sort of burnt amber. If I were an emotion, I would be hope. If I were a fruit, I would be a strawberry. If I were a sound, I would be that of laughter. If I were an element, I would be earth. If I were a place, I would be Norway. If I were a taste, I would be hot chocolate. If I were a scent, I would be that of pine needles. If I were an object, I would be a lamp. If I were a body part, I would be shoulders. If I were a song, I would be In No Time by MUTEMATH. If I were a pair of shoes, I would be a pair of rain boots.

I wrote a new fic! “Murder on Aisle 5″ is it’s name, and it’s loads of fun! This was written for the marvelous, wonderful, fantastic @riversidewren. As usual it’s on AO3 and FanFic.net.

And here’s an excerpt:

Athos has been in this damn store for a whole three minutes and he's prepared to kill any and every living thing that comes within a three foot radius. Thus far Porthos has been the only creature of reason beside Athos himself while d'Artagnan and Aramis started their bickering over what party foods to get long before they climbed into the car. What began as a simple and innocent desire to celebrate Tréville’s twentieth year as their captain was quickly turning into a murder plot.

"Cheetos, d'Artagnan? This is not a five year old's birthday party. This is a mature office party celebrating twenty years of excellence! It is our responsibility as his friends and coworkers to honor him with snacks worthy of his office. Anything less would be disrespectful. And distasteful!"

D'Artagnan pouts and strays not an inch from the variety of Cheetos.

"D'Herblay 2016! Ladies and gents, your next president!" Calls Porthos for half the grocery store to hear.

“Why don't you try for public office, Aramis?" d’Artagnan shifts away from his beloved snack food like a moth drawn to a flame of interest.

“Separation of church and state,” Aramis says with a wink...

Well done…you portrayed the love/hate relationship they have very well! Not an easy thing to do.

Their love-hate relationship is literally my favorite thing to write. I’m glad you enjoyed it!
