Callie sees what happened to Antonio. The virus is giving people a hive-mind, but for what reason and who could be behind. Antonio gets a little too much and they run off and the hive-mind wears off. She explains what happened and they realize they have to get to the bottom of it.

They incapacitate Pam and take her down to the lab and clone her. They then are taken back to Sixam for unknown reasons.

Christmas time is here in the Rivers household. They get to the Winterfest activities until they show up again. . . They are still trying to get to Pam and clone her. Elizabeth tries to hold them off as well as Madison, but to no avail.

The girls swim away and meet with the council. The council decides it’s in their best interest to cut their losses and resurrect Madison to give some power to their side.Madison did not ask for this, but the council thinks she’ll be a useful asset.

Shenji teleports to the dark science lab’s new base, in Cassie’s lab, to meet with Cariba’s mom who is also Shenji’s descendant and the hooded man. Their new mission is to clone the mermaids. They attack the girls, but the girls defend themselve’s and manage to ward the men off. . . for now.

Riley kills Shenji. . .’s clone. They did not see that he duplicated himself. Riley finds the real Shenji, but is incapacitated. Cassie attempts to stop him, but he teleports away.

Elizabeth and Shenji face off, but she is defeated. Cassie attempts to freeze Shenji, but to no avail. Riley and Errin attempt to go after him and soon they find him downstairs. . .

The triplets resurrect Shenji. As soon as Shenji is resurrected he attacks the girls. They all team up, but Shenji is too strong. . .
