This makes me sad :( But I have hope for Infinity War. These characters deserve a happy ending. I’m glad I read this spoiler because if I had gone in the theater blind, they would have to drag me out.
Yeah, same. The good news is this is obviously not something they’re just going to forget about in future movies - it’s beautiful and meaningful, and still has a chance to ultimately become a reality.

I hope you don’t regret reading it. I’m glad I know - I wanted to know that their story was going to be meaningful and not something that could simply be cast aside after this film - and it doesn’t spoil any details about what happens in between. It’s obvious, based on what Scarlett said, that this will affect Natasha going forward. Mark has no idea what will happen to his character at this point, so that’s probably why he hasn’t mentioned a similar significance within Bruce’s character arc, but no doubt there will be one. Somehow, I don’t think the Russo brothers will just ignore it like certain shippers hope they will.
