I agree because the dean/cas relationship dynamic is clearly different to, say, the sam/cas dynamic - there is absolutely no denying that
but i'm not putting any money on the writers actually making dean/cas canon and I've always said that I think it's not outside the realm of possibility for the writers to directly address dean/cas but i feel like it would be from cas' perspective because they seem to be more reluctant when it comes to addressing it from dean's perspective
so it's complicated!
basically, writers get your shit together and decide whether or not it's ever gonna happen, okie dokie?
