Hi Gorgeous<3 I just want to know if your riverview makeover will be up before seasons? It's def the town I wanna play in. :)

I wasn't able to do the last minute refinements I wanted to, unfortunately I just don't have time now. They will have to wait until I update the town for Seasons... next month, right? So close!!

If you see this--mind letting me know if you want it before Seasons comes out, or after? I'll probably be making a few more changes after that, so I'm not sure if people would rather wait or get their hands on it sooner. :)

As of this moment, minus any small tweaks and of course, the release of the Seasons EP, the Riverview Makeover is finished!

I've gotten a lot of people asking me if I'll be sharing it, and yes--I would like to. I'm just not sure when. I can do it either after Owen and Fern move in, or wait until I'm able to update it for Seasons... I'm not sure what would be better, considering that the whole reason I did this was to play here post-Seasons. I guess I'll have to think on it!

Riverview's Art Museum is actually a really cool little place--it's more of a history exhibit than an art exhibit, which is cool!

So, I left it relatively untouched. I redid one room with greek sculptures (since it was just... pointless, before), another to fit the 'history' motif, and then made the art room upstairs the one place for more 'modern' art.

I really, really wanted to make this the coolest Consignment Store ever, but as soon as I opened up the lot to start working on it, I just said "frack it".

All in all, it functions fine--it has both a Consignment and Nectary register, as well as some nectar racks in one of the rooms, and lots of little bobs and trinkets to browse, but it's no visual marvel. It works. That's about it.

I did make sure to make the window displays look decent from the street--so I guess that's a plus. I just don't imagine many people will be looking through the windows. (It's where Hogan's Diner used to be.)

Have I mentioned I really like this beach? It's pretty small, but especially once Seasons comes out it'll be a really nice place to chill.

I'm showing pictures of it for a third time though to mention one small change: sand. It didn't have any before, but I added a veeerry small amount of it with the terrain tool, so that children can build sandcastles on a few different spots on the lot.

It's just not a beach without sandcastles.

I'll be honest, the first few times I played in Riverview, I hated the Hatchery. I thought that it took the fun out of angling (which had been my favorite skill pre-WA), so every sim I had in Riverview never leveled up fishing.

It's grown on me, though. At first I debated getting rid of it altogether, but in a way it just 'fits', and because it had so many empty ponds, I was able to put in some of the new fish spawners from World Adventures and Late Night. I even added some other Pet spawners (birds, lizards, rodents, etc), so this lot should have all sorts of gatherable fun.

If you're familiar with Margo and where she works, the Riverside Horse Ranch may look familiar; I decided that it wouldn't hurt to use it again, except with a few changes to the terrain and without any of the CC.

I didn't mess with the inside, so it's empty at the moment, but if anyone who downloads this Riverview actually has a mind to visit/use the horse ranch, I'm sure they'd love to fix it up themselves.
