Call for Proposals

We would love for you to be a part of this day! The Rhode Island Writing Project is seeking proposals for 75-minute workshops to be held after our keynote. Please download the proposal form here and consider submitting an idea for a workshop, or send this along to an educator who may be interested. The submission deadline is Wednesday, February 3, 2016. Please submit all proposals electronically to [email protected] with the subject line "RIWP Conference Proposal."

The Open Air Institute is Fast Approaching!

Join us for the Open Air Institute, a place-based Institute open to all teachers. Our theme this summer is Coastal Connections: exploring the physical and metaphysical coasts that connect us to other places and times. Explore local history, culture, and geography as we write our way around three of Rhode Island’s coastal towns: Bristol, Westerly, and Jamestown.
