Font(s) you like using you had me open ps for this and that’s evil, the font i am using for almost all my graphics lately is “high tower text” (typography is not my suite :)

Give a graphic and or gif maker a quick tip! pen tool is a pain in the ass? don’t worry buddy i gotchu, use polygonal lasso tool to clean out any background you want, it’s a little bit (very) tedious to use but it’s still better than the pen tool :)
