As much as I appreciate the modern takes on Alcina Dimitrescu wearing pencil skirts and general, still fashionable, office attire, I think it’s a little important (for me) to consider nowhere in RE8 does her main outfit have a tight skirt. This is a woman who, while she sits like a lady, does value being able to move in the clothes she’s in. How much of that is influenced by her size? Irrelevant (not actually). On the jazz cover, which i can’t remember if that’s her or some allegory type shit, that’s still a dress one would be able to move in.

I could see her wearing more form-fitting stuff if the event/situation called for it but genuinely it seems like she dresses for fashion AND comfort. Flowy-ish skirts, she can bend over/crouch, creeps don’t have any easy time yada yada ramble ramble you get my point.

More rambling below the cut. Don’t expect this to be detailed or make sense. I’m fucking up some good southern smoked ham rn.

Skirts

Alright lets tackle this first since it’s also what I tackled above. I never actually named the types of skirts I could see Lady D wearing and that’s on me as I’m lowkey a fashion nerd who needs to read up on fashion again.

Anywho.

I do think Lady D would own and occasionally wear pencil skirts, especially younger her. She doesn’t really dress for anyone other than herself though, as I kind of got into above, so accordion, wrap, draped, tulip, and mermaid skirts.

Tulip and wrapped skirts are usually on the same short-ish side like pencil skirts while accordion and mermaid skirts are long. Like, ankle length at least.

Mermaid skirts would probably be an occasional wear for specific events.

Shirts

Ngl do you know how many basic bitch, reference ass energy fashion charts I had to look at to find ANYTHING I thought this fictional woman might wear? It’s shameful.

Oxford, Roll Sleeve, Tunic, Fitted Wrapped, and Belted. I’m not going into detail I’m still upset. You’ll get pics like last time.

Pants

Straight (silence your jokes), Pegged (SILENCE), Stirrup, Cargo (situational), Palazzo.

I can’t put more photos because mobile.

Shoulder Coverings and Jackets etc

Sweater (technically a shirt but i do what i want), Shawl, Stole, Pea Jacket, Car Coat, a full on dramatic ass Cloak, Macintosh (i couldn’t even read the image for this one brodies).

Gloves

Walking, Lace, Opera, Arm length. Lace ones are surely for special events. Everything else is likely more interchangeable and depend on her outfit.

Shoes

Wedge Sandals/Heels, Gladiators, Kitten Heel, Pumps (situational because most doorways are not her height), Army Boots (weather, guys), Lace Up Heels (highly situational but idk when…). She’d probably prefer ankle socks.

Tattoos

Say what you want but I believe she has at least three tats, one for each daughter. This woman may put up all the effort into looking proper but I wouldn’t be surprised if she has a nice back piece or if she got the daughter pieces done and had them all connected later.

Honestly I think she’d appreciate the tattoos on someone else more. There’s nothing more personal than using the body as a canvas.
