🌌🌠Why I fear stars when they emit radiance? . One, it's been 12 years, 3 months and 30 days since I lost you, P ♥️ . Someone with whom I had shared my darkest secrets with. Someone I loved the most. Papa says, “Only in the agony of parting do we look into the depths of love.” But why always a person has to leave to know the depths of love? You see, I go and fetch the stars, as if it's you standing there, comforting me. But well, stars are just an illusion and that's why I fear going back to them again in search of you. . Two, on the days I can't write, I look at my phone which says 11.11 with a starry nights background and I make a wish that all the metaphors and paradoxes I want to write would come to me in person rather than in emotions, sentiments and trauma. I'm tired of feeling void/not enough. You see, I always seek darkness over light because every good thing in the world comes to an end. But darkness prevail. Always. Everytime. . Three, Maa says grief comes in pieces of pie. Once you eat them, it fades as if it never existed. I tell maa, grief can't fade. It's just that we try to live with it. Because, no. I still search for my best friend who promised me a forever, in every person I meet. The radiance of her personality was just like how stars illuminate. But you can't get enough of it. Never. And that's why I fear them. . Four, they say, you forget the world when you see the stars. But maybe, I found a little world already in them. SIRIUS for P♥️. CANOPUS for my best friend. ARCTURUS for my grief and RIGEL for metaphors. You see, stars emit radiance only in darkness, to take me down the memory lane, the memory lane which haunts me the most. 🌑 When you said your last goodbye I died a little bit inside I lay in tears in bed all night Alone without you by my side 🌅 🍁🥀Tonight i lay on caramelized couch counting the blues , stars and soltitude.. warmed up in blankets , curling up in the aroma of vanilla candles. I take upon the mesmerizing idea of beauty and i realise beauty is terror, whatever we find beautiful ; we quiver before it. Nourishing the chaos of my thoughts i let my eyelashes collide and my mind wander, It urges me to draw you , splashing pallets full of charismatic colours on raw paper showing you ; how infinte is your beauty. Because i am sure my blooded words wont be partial enough to do your charm a justice. My imagination runs off to the honey crescent of your lips , And i was scared , that with one unfortunate sunrise i wont be the reason behind it. My ears yearnes for the amalgamation of three words of love from your deep ambered throat , i assume you drink sweetchum sparkling sugar instead of water before you utter them , because they have bewitched me and i fear someday those words wont carry enough meaning to make you long for me. My mind dives deep into the depth of your love resting just under your collarbone, a little tilted and crooked And i am baffled with the concept of love. You are emblem of the word beautiful , but my words wont ever be enough to describe the way your lashes curl , or how your eyes glisten up to the thought of this mysteriously devil world , or how you make me the most afraid human to exist in the orbits of this planet.
