It was a normal day, a time for him to relax and rewind, deciding on fresh air, Doojoon headed for the park to stretch out his tired legs from his previous shift in the cafe. It was fun to make and serve coffee, but of course it took a toll on him. You weren’t exactly allowed to sit down unless you were on break and the constant dash from the counter to the glasses was already a lot and at the end of the shift, his feet was usually killing him. It was a peaceful day. It was a good day. But he wasn’t really counting on what was about to happen next.
He was walking towards a certain spot when suddenly a stranger tackled him and the next thing he knew he was on the floor, a fist coming right at him. He groaned, struggling to push the guy off, his face turning into another direction when the punch hit, his vision going out for a split second. “Fuck! Y-yah!” He tried to push the other off, shielding his face as more punches came flying his way. One arm lifted to cover his face, the other tried to grab hold of his shirt, his feet trying to get in a position that would give him enough leverage to push this guy off of him.
Crowds started to pool around them, others seeming to enjoy the brawl and even had their phones in their hands and videoing or taking photos of what was happening.
Kang Joon didn’t cared about the crowd around them, he just had his bright eyes fixated at the man underneath him. Even though he wasn’t as broad built as his hyungs, he was quite tall and thus pretty heavy. He felt that guy under him struggle to push him off, but he kept the other caged with his long and strong legs, while his left hand had pinned the other’s right shoulder down. But when he wasn’t paying attention, as his rage made his vision blurry, he was pushed aside and stumbled back.
His breath started to become irregular, and his body shoke in excitement. It had been a while since he had been part of a streetfight. The male straightened his back and stared at his opponent. “You’ll pay for what you did in the past.” Having just one opponent was a pretty rare situation for Kang Joon, but he didn’t mind. That guy was enough for him to take out his full arsenal of skills. Today was bill day. He wouldn’t ever forget again.
As he examined the other’s face, that face he had hated for so long and had promised to himself to never forget it, seemed a little different from what he remembered. But the memories were from long ago, there was no way he was able to remember every single detail.
Actually he didn’t know what he should do about that guy, just giving him a bleeding nose wouldn’t be enough, but Kang Joon was struggling with himself. He didn’t wanted to ever go down that path he had walked on for a long time, just fighting without mercy, he now had people who cared for him and loved him. He had to stop himself, but when he looked at these hateful eyes, he couldn’t help but to come onto the other once more.
