arms reach up towards the white ceiling, stretching out from the stiffness they had been in all day. yoongi was far too exhausted to handle another customer who was angry over the fact they couldn’t get a pair of shoes they liked. all he wanted at the moment was to go back to his apartment and fall asleep on the couch with the soft noise of his tv on in the background. at busy times like this, where workers were rushing from customer to customer, he did question his settlement of taking on this job. there were plenty of other places he could get more money at and plenty of other places he wasn’t required to deal with angry ‘sneakerheads’ but for some reason he still stayed. maybe it was due to desperation for cash or the fact he just liked the discounts he would get. or maybe it was because he grew fond of one of his coworkers who welcomed him to the store and trained him. it only took a few workdays for yoongi to realize their personalities didn’t drift far apart and getting along would be simple. jang hanna seemed chill and yoongi liked that. so, he tended to stick around her. cracking jokes every here and there while they worked at the cashiers, talking to her while the store was empty, whining about the boss and mimicking him. all it took was a quick glance at his watch to realize his shift was over. seeing that hanna was already headed towards the back to get ready to leave, he jogged over, catching up, putting a hand on her shoulder. “was today tediously slow so far or is it just me?”
