baby, it’s cold ( so warm me up )
@rkjeongha
by all accounts, nayoung should be exhausted. she’s been out all afternoon, volunteering at the ice rink and helping process the donations that have counted as entrance fees for the plaza’s festival. however, along with being a night owl and always managing to get a second wind of energy once the sun goes down, nayoung loves the winter -- the cold invigorates her, makes her more energetic and drives her to go out more, to get involved in whatever she can that’ll give her an excuse to be outside.
she’s bundled up, with three layers of a long-sleeved shirt and a navy sweatshirt from her university underneath a maroon puffy vest, paired with a black beanie and a pair of black gloves. underneath her jeans are a pair of leggings, and under her boots her socks are fuzzy enough to keep her feet warm. her face gets chilly when the wind blows, but she hardly minds as she stands waiting for jeongha at the entrance of the ice rink, watching the people, usually grouped into couples, families, or groups of friends, as they move further into the festival to enjoy the stalls and games set up around and past the outdoor rink where nayoung has already spent most of her day.
she doesn’t really know why jeongha wanted to come to this specifically with her -- surely the other had plenty of other friends to bring to this -- but she appreciates that jeongha offered to meet up with her after nayoung finished volunteering. she’s almost certain that jeongha will claim it to be a date and continue her habit of shamelessly flirting with nayoung, who finds that she doesn’t mind. it’s become rather fun to banter and flirt with jeongha, and anyway, after being called the “ice queen” so much she feels like she’s in her element here, standing in the flurries of snow outside a familiar ice rink at a winter festival.
